To begin with, our planet is facing such a problem as overpopulation.That's why we don't need clones.Cloning will make this problem more global and will intensify poverty, famine and sanitation. Moreover, it's unethical because of the lack of information on cloning. Will clones be able to feel and think?Will they have souls?Will we have the right to kill them for a medical reason?Some scientists believe that some clones would be killed in order to save the life of "normal humans".Who will decide if they will be normal or not? On the other hand, some people believe cloning is a magnificent scientific invention.They think animal cloning could be used to repopulate animals that are at risk of becoming extinct.
I totally agree with you, human cloning is definitely wrong. Firstly everyone is unique. No-one will feel special anymore if we’ll be just clones. Everyone is different, everyone has their own dreams, ideas. It’s impossible to be the same. Also if everyone will be the same we won’t be able to learn a lot of new staff as a result we won’t make any progress. Moreover cloning is rarely successful the first time, which means that some human cells will die. By the way I think you’re right about animal cloning. It’s not a bad thing to do as it has no negative effect on them.

Ok, let's start to discuss pros and cons of cloning, taking into account people cloning. Human cloning is the creation of a genetically identical copy of a human. And what does it mean? It means that you can have a twin beside you. What if people start to mix up your copy with you? What if your copy take your own life? I think the main reason why scientists began trying to clone is to help the mankind fight some fatal diseases. But on the other hand our planet is overcrowded. I totaly agree with Ira. It will bring us a lot of problems. But we can take as an atternative - animal cloning. So, well, it is much safer than to carry out experiments on people. Cloning of animals will bring people more "food". There is a fact, that cats, for example, have an animal AIDS that is a good model for studying human AIDS. It is great that we have a chance to destroy such disease. By the way, some people think that with a help of cloning we can return our pets, friends, relatives. The trouble is that we don't know if clones have souls? However, there are religious arguments against it. It would involve creating another human and then eventually killing it in order to use its organs. To sum up all these facts, I want to say, that I'm againt human cloning due to "machines" without souls.
I absolutely agree with girls. Overpopulation is a worldwide problem and сloning can worsen this problem. Moreover, a person can lose his individuality so that scientists, philosophers and thinkers are praised. But I think that in the future (if overpopulation won't be a problem) we can use cloned people in curing their originals. It will help us to fight with diseases and, most importantly, aging.
I against cloning cause i think it's not very usefull think.It will be using for Evil or some kind of government frauds.I against cloning peoples but if we learn a good way how to cloning animals ( pigs,cows and etc ) it will be super good and usefull. (Cause we will have an endless source of food and milk,water.
You don't think globaly,cause you are 15 y/0 kido ;) Yes,we have farm to breed animals but if smth happend and farm will be destroyed , what do we need to do?And if we do more animals it's not a problem,it's big plus for humans anyway.
I don't care, but IMO cloning can and will be beneficial to our society. Endless amount of animals can provide us with, well, infinite amount of food, lab material, and, if we clone humans, organs.

Re: clones "stealing" your life/clones (not) having a soul - again, who cares? Just get rid of them, it's not that hard. And, uhh, what's a "soul"? That's not a valid argument, because c'mon, we don't even know if *we* have a soul.

I'm absolutely against cloning. In my oppinion Its will be a third World War between clones and normal humans, because not all people want to leave with clones (I don't want). Or my second theory, clones will be a weapon like in "Star wars". We mast protect our planet from war...
I agree with all thoughts and opinions. From myself I want to say I against cloning because I do not see any benefit from cloning. It is pointless. Cloning has many disadvantages (see above in other comments). The main problem is overpopulation in the whole world so that cloning can appear among humans and animals. It will be awful when every person in the world can afford to create a double (a clon). For example, suppose we cloned a man. What would happen if some dictators like Hitler or Napoleon, cloned themselves? Then we will not be able to avoid war.. Would we be able to survive? It's really very dangerous for humanity.. Let's recall the recent past. Well in generally The gene revolution (cloning )began in 1997, when British scientists from Edinburgh University produced the first cloned sheep, Dolly. Since then scientists have cloned mice, cows, dogs and pigs. On the other hand, cloning animals opens exciting medical possibilities. Many people are in need of tissues and organs for transplantation. But it isn't easy to get such organs as, for example, heart, liver or kidneys. Cloning can solve this problem. Nevertheless, the idea of human cloning seems very exciting. In the near future, to the delight, or unfortunately, this idea will be applied. Will see, will see :) Hehe)
In my opinion cloning animals is good idea because it will provide us with a lot of food and also might help our medicine. But cloning people might not be a good idea, because of course it will provide us with organs and ability to research some diceases better, but it makes to much ethical questions. To sum up, I think that cloning animals is good, but cloning people is bad.

First of all cloning is a very big mistake of scientists.Because this idea mostly gonna cause a lot of problems in our lives,for example i cant imagine that could live with my clone,this clone wont be like a robot it will live like you are living right now and he can just ignore your orders and if he wants he can just ruine your life and you will regret that you made you clone to make your life easier.In conclusion i want to say that i am against of cloning because any people dont have rights to clone any person.And also clonong can cause over population on our earth.
Partly I am for cloning, because I can clone one of my favourite celebrities and I can be with him in the future (it would be great if I could be together with Leonardo DiCaprio, Song Mino or Jung Hunchul...). But on the other hand I think that cloning is unnecesarry — it won't help us to do something great, it will be like a some sort of amusement for us, we can clone us to live forever, but it isn't good for the time and for our nature. It is really dangerous, because if our Earth falls, everyone dies. It's obviously.
