What is graffiti? Graffiti is a kind of art. Of course, it is very unusual, that's why most of people believe that graffiti should be banned. I agree with it, but I'm in two minds about it. Let's divide two concepts: graffiti and TAGs. I think TAGs should be banned, because they are only a text, without any sense. But there are realy magnifisent and fabulous arts. They include mural art. Mural art is a large graggiti painting with 3-D effects and they are painted with a help of bright colours. Despite the fact that graffiti is funny and beautiful, there is a big risk. In some way the creation of graffiti is dangerous. Writers climb high places to draw. Moreover graffiti-sprays contain harmful gases, which influence your health badly. On the other hand, graffiti can vary our grey life, especially Minsk. I think our city is full of grey and dark colours. And, of course, graffiti can inspire you to do something unusual. To sum up all these facts I want to say that graffiti are shouldn't be banned.
I can agree with Julia that graffiti is an art. A lot of artists are writing on the walls to express their fantasies and their opinion on some topics that were discussed in public. By the way, there is an artist that creates a lot of wonderful pieces of art – his nickname is Banksy. Nobody knew who is it till some time. His creations were published in museums, they are very beautiful and they express his opinion about wars, famine in poor countries, corruption, a lot of things that hit our world and public every time, every year and every hour. Every moment in our life is being smashed by bad news. If to be honest, there are a lot more bad news than good news. We can take the situation in South Korea – a lot of rappers, singers, actors expressed their opinion about this situation, and I think that there a lot of graffiti artists expressed it too. To sum up, graffiti shouldn't be banned, because it expresses lots of opinions of public. Also graffiti are really beautiful, but taggers must be punished.
On my view, some graffiti are beautiful. Graffiti is very popular around the world. If it's done by talented people, a picture can be an art work. To start with, graffiti makes deserted houses, fences, walls more beautiful. A picture should be drawn on old, dirty and broken walls. It could be good, if we have special places for graffiti. Also some graffiti artists want to be heard, and they try to explain something to the people. They want to color this grey and boring world. On the other hand there are some graffiti artists who write obscene words, draw senseless pictures and spoil monuments, memorial walls, cars. So most of people believe that graffiti is more vandalism than art. Graffiti is an art if it made by talented people. And we should give graffiti artists a chance to tell us what they want. So I think that graffiti shouldn't be banned. But the government can issue some laws for graffiti and graffiti artists.

In my opinion graffiti is of course an art. But it is written in places where it is not allowed. Because of this it is usually perceived as a vandalism (and it is true because writers who write in not permitted places breaks the law). I think that the government should make some special places for writers who are skilled enough to make some real art from grafitti and of course govenments should ban grafttis that are written in not permitted places. To sum up I think that grafitti is not bad at all but people who breaks the law while writting it makes it quite difficult to perceive like something good (because some grafittis may even be used like some king of insult or provocation).
I absolutely agree with all other students' ideas. In my view graffiti art is more better than primitive vandalism because real work of art has more advantages than disadvantages. Some graffiti are very romantic and creative and you can see them for free on the walls of thrown buildings in our city. It made by great skillful team of writers and I am really impressed this amasing masterpieces. Also I want this perfect graffities were taken and included in the national museums and galleries. Unfortunately, there is a flip side of medal. Very often young people which have nothing to do took some tags and spoil the walls. It can cause problems in ozone layer. It is very hard in our country to fight against vandalizm because a person who made it not so easy to find. In conclusion, we should not banned at all but the government should issue a decree on the termination of the appearance of illegal paintings and it is a chance for talented artists to see their unique talent. So it will be possible to maintain peace and security in the whole world.
In my opinion graffiti is a kind of vandalism. Its like a rubbish on the walls. Its illigal. Some of that is beautiful but people who write it can paint it on the canvas and it will be an art or something like that. I saw the "tags" on the walls. They are soo ugly. They pollute our city. All graffity sprays are toxic. They destroy an ozone layer and poison people. If you want to safe our planet from rubbish you can startwith something few. For example Ban graffity. First of all i really believe that graffiti is a kind of art.Because graffiti is not only some 3-d writed letters but also can be a very attractive paintings.In most cases writers are doing paintings to express they emotions.For them graffiti writings are something like a kind of relaxation for their souls.But there are a lot of kids who just doing it for fun and for population among their peers.And it's very bad because we cant disagree that graffiti is not illegal because writers are drawing their paintings on the other people's property and it's sometimes can cause a lot of problems for the owners and for themselves.And also young people most of all are risking their lives when they are climbing buildings to draw somewhere where everybody can see it.In conclusion i don't think that graffiti must be banned because it's really interesting kind of art and it always looks very nice.But also i think that writers must do this only in specifically designed places for it and they need to use quickly washed off so like a temporary image.There are a lot of facts why people can't draw on the walls,in public places and left their tags,but graffiti is really interesting thing.But only when it's not illegal.

I totally agree with you. Graffiti is definitely a kind of art. It is even exhibited in museums of modern art nowadays. Until it's not just tagging I'm sure we can call it art. In my opinion the debate about whether graffiti is an art or whether it's a crime is pointless because of course when you are painting graffiti on someone's property, it's illegal and it's a crime, but it still can be art. There are a lot of examples of cool graffitis in the city and I'm sure most of them are illegal, but they are still making our life brighter.
